Dr Preshy Varghese

Practice Principal

Dr Preshy Varghese is the founder and Practice Principal of Grace Family Practice. He has graduated from India. He has undergone advanced training in Surgery and has Fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. He is a General Practitioner with special interest in Dermatology, Skin Cancer Surgery and Varicose Vein Treatment. He has Fellowship from Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He also has a Diploma in Dermatology (Australian Institute of Dermatology) and Masters in Skin Cancer Medicine (University of Queensland). He is actively involved in supervising and teaching of Medical Students, Interns and GP Registrars. He is the Senior Lecturer in the University of Queensland Medical School and also an Examiner for the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Mrs Deepa Preshy Varghese

Practice Manager

Deepa has graduated as a computer science engineer from Bangalore, India. She has completed her Diploma in Professional Practice Management from the University of New England on 2013. She is a member of Australian Association of Practice Managers.

Dr Sanghmitra Bilwani

MBBS, MD, DRANZCOG, FRACGP

Dr Sanghmitra Bilwani (Dr Sangi) has graduated MBBS from India. She has done a postgraduate (masters) in Obstetrics& Gynaecology in India. She has finished fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. She worked in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in India and different hospitals in Australia. She has passed Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Her Special interests are Women’s Health and Skin Cancer Medicine.

DR KIAT CHENG

MBBS, BHSc, FRACGP

Dr Kiat Cheng is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). After moving to Australia in 2010, he completed his study in Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Queensland. He previously worked as a medical officer in Rockhampton and Ipswich General Hospital before he moved to Bundaberg in 2019. His special interests include surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancer, dermatology, minor procedures, musculoskeletal conditions and sport injuries as well as chronic disease management.

DR SHERIL VARGHESE 

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr. Sheril Varghese graduated MBBS from India and and has been practicing as a Medical Practitioner since 2009. She came to Australia in 2010 and has been working as a clinician since 2011 and as a GP since 2016. She has completed Fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. Her special interests include Chronic Disease management, Mental health, Women’s and Children’s heath, and Dermatology. She also takes great interest in skin procedures and skin checks. 

She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and watching movies.

Dr RAMKUMAR RAJASEKARAN

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Ramkumar Rajasekaran (Dr Ram) has been graduated from India. He worked for many years in Queensland public hospitals in Medicine and Palliative care. He finished his fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016. His Special interests are Palliative Medicine, Chronic Disease Management, Cardiology and Respiratory medicine.

DR JEANETTE WIMBUS

MBBS FRACGP

Dr Jeanette is an Aboriginal and Australian South Sea Islander lady doctor. She has graduated from James Cook University, Townsville with Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery. She has worked in Townsville hospital as a Medical Officer. She has finished her fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. Dr Jeanette’s special interests are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, Women’s health, Paediatrics and Mental Health. 

Her hobbies are painting (aboriginal arts) and reading.

Dr Oladapo Biya
(Dr Ola)

MBChB

A graduate of a Medical School (2001) in Nigeria with MBChB degree. He has extensive experience in primary care/general practice in West Africa (tropical medicine), South Africa and  now Australia. Currently a registrar participating in the Practice Experience Program (PEP) to attain fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)
He has special interests in all aspects of General Practice especially Chronic Diseases prevention and Management, Mental Health , Skin cancer prevention and management, Paediatrics, antenatal care , Aboriginal health care, Geriatric medicine.

Dr Kyaw AUNG (Joe)

MBBS 

Dr Kyaw (Joe) graduated from University of Medicine Myanmar in 2016 and worked part time as Medical Officer before moving to Bundaberg in 2019. Worked in Base hospital for about 3 years before started GP training in 2022. His special interest include chronic diseases management and sport injuries.

Dr Surbhi Gupta

MBBS

Dr Surbhi Gupta has graduated MBBS from India and has been practicing as a medical practitioner since 2011. She came to Bundaberg, Australia in 2020 and has been working previously in the Bundaberg Base Hospital in different specialties

She is currently a registrar to attain fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Her special interests include Chronic disease management, Mental health, Women’s health and Skin cancer medicine.

She enjoys spending time with her family (with husband and 8 months daughter) reading, cooking and watching movies.
